It looks like once the smoke has cleared over the super hero box office war this summer that Batman has indeed beaten the Fantastic Four. Yes, all four of the super heroes were no match for Batman Begins! Batman has made it over the 200 million dollar range which would be a record for the Caped Crusader except for the very first major motion picture focusing on Batman starring Jack Nicholson and Michael Keaton still holds the title as the Bat Champion. The Tim Burton movie made a awesome 251 million dollars!

Still the Fantastic Four being new to the movie screen and not having quite as many years under their utility belts as Batman did pretty good. They have blasted their way past the 150 million dollar mark. The Walt Disney movie Sky High hasn't did near as much box office, but it is still in the top ten currently at $50,862,532 million dollars which is about what it was budgeted. Pretty good once you factor in dvd sales. The characters don't even have a long established comic book series to bring in fans so they actually did pretty well all in all.

Next year will Superman prove he is still the greatest super hero of all time? Will the Man of Steel bend box office numbers in his bare hands? Or will his new costume ruin all chances of a super hero comeback? Regardless of what the media says the message boards are filled with negative feedback on the new outfit. Could Bryan Singer really be working for Lex Luthor? There seems to be more of a media bias for the new costume than what most consider that the liberals enjoy from the news outlets. Even Fox News is strangely silent. Holy cover up Batman! Still, Superman has the potential to break all records super fans. He's got a huge budget, great new movie technology, and enjoys more fame than any other super hero known to mankind. It is still in the air what the final outcome will be! Let's hope then new Superman actor Brandon Routh is at least as good as my favorite TV Superman, Dean Cain or the current really cool TV Show, Smallville's Tom Welling. In the end you will be the judge super fans!
