Here's the trailer for the much anticipated X-men 3 this summer! Look for this movie to break some records this summer.

For those of you wondering what the new James Bond from the upcoming movie is going to look like as 007, here's the new trailer Bond fans. Looks pretty good. Looks a lot more gritty and realistic than the usual Bond film. I will miss Pierce Brosnan, but this new guy might make a good Bond after all.

John Wayne and his favorite director John Ford was the subject of American Masters on PBS. According to TV guide it is supposed to discuss the fact that John Wayne looked to his director almost as a father figure. The show also says that Wayne and Ford disagreed on Politics and talks about their disagreement during World War II.

Tom Cruise mission was to take over the box office this weekend. He succeeded, but his enemies have conspired against him blaming his personal lifestyle for Mission Impossible only taking in a measly $47.7 million when it should have made at least 20 million more. Boy do they shoot high!

A poster is a flexible mode of visual communication and a powerful promotional tool. The movie industry has always been aware of the advertising power of this inexpensive medium of communication. Movie posters are designed by studios to build awareness about a film by exploiting the visual reach and appeal of this dynamic medium. Individual pieces conveying the essence of a movie, through pictorial depiction in a sheet of paper, have found immense popularity among the masses. It is difficult for even the most cynical to deny that movie posters belong to an entirely different genre of art.

With all the noise about the DaVinci Code I thought this article written by Michael Tummillo was of interest. Apparently, a lot of people have not understood the DaVinci Code book and movie are strictly for entertainment and have no basis in fact whatsoever. This article goes over some of the discrepancies in the book from real history.

Coming May 12, 06 to a theatre near you, a new updated retelling of "The Poseidon Adventure" called just, "Poseidon". The original classic 1972 movie starred Ernest Borgnine and Gene Hackman. The original was followed by "Beyond the Poseidon Adventure" starring Michael Caine and Telly Savalas Where as the first one centered around escaping an overturned ship, this one focuses on men seeking treasure from the overturned ship. You can buy the original "Poseidon Adventure" and the recent TV movie version on DVD starring Steve Guttenberg and C. Thomas Howell of "Outsiders" fame

Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni star in a remake of a 1977 film called Fun with Dick and Jane. This is probably one of Jim Carrey's best films. It's not the best, but it's a very good effort.

You've got to see the new Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo Drift Trailer. It's got cool music and fast paced action. It looks like it's going to rock! "

Movie Review: Ice Age 2

“Ice Age 2: The Meltdown” is about three prehistoric animals—Manny the Mammoth (Ray Romano), Diego the Saber tooth tiger (Denis Leary) and Sid the Sloth (John Leguizamo)— narrowly escaping a melting paradise of water parks, geysers and tar pits. The world as they know it is coming to an end. The animals must run for their lives and fight other critters that threaten their existence.
