Don't forget tonight on Smallville, you can see the first glimpses of the new Superman Returns. There will be a teaser trailer that fans have been waiting a while to see. The trailer will also be seen with the new Harry Potter film.

Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis star as the Kranks in "Christmas with the Kranks". This is sure to be a holiday tradition not in the same league as "It's a Wonderful Life", but it carves out it's own niche as a for the most part family friendly Christmas comedy.

The new Peter Jackson epic King Kong that will be coming your way in theatres December 14 has a brand new poster you can pre-order at Moviegoods. There are also a nice selection of film cells, photos, caps, and mugs for the King Kong movie.

King Kong may be available in 3D when it's released later this year. Chicken Little also available in 3D has been pretty successful so Kong might just reach out of the screen and grab you.

Stax over there at filmforce has read the script for the new upcoming Rocky movie. Beware there are a few spoilers, but not enough to ruin the movie. It
will probably just be enough to wet your appetite for the upcoming film. There's even a part that suggests Mr. T will make a cameo as Clubber Lang. Man I can't wait to see this movie. Read the article.

Finally, the first release of the Superman Returns poster is out. Superman fans can now own the poster some six months before the release of the new movie starring Brandon Routh as Superman, kate Bosworth as Lois Lane, and Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor. The movie is reported to be over a 300 million dollar budget so far, but it could well be the biggest hit of 2006.

This week's box office did a lot better than the last few weeks. Chicken Little made a little over 40 million. Newcomer "Jarhead" a Marine movie about the first Gulf War brought in almost 30 million. "The Legend of Zorro kept a very good percentage of it's audience as I thought it would. Unfortunately, it's total take wasn't that high to begin with. The western super hero has been doing great internationally, and I suspect that DVD sales will be pretty good.

A 67-year-old man was sued by the movie industry for his 12 year old grandson's movie downloads. Apparently, the kid downloaded 4 movies. 3 of which they already owned. For this the movie industry asked for a settlement of 4 thousand dollars. When the man refused, mainly because he didn't have 4 grand, they then sued for 600 thousand dollars to make an example of the poor old guy. Personally, I think this is an outrage that legal technicalities would be placed above human beings.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith Movie Review

Mr. and Mrs. Smith a.k.a. Brangelina fest, is a movie that had a lot of hype surrounding it that had nothing to do with the movie itself ..good thing. The constant talk leading up to the movie was centered on “Are they or aren’t they,” a couple that is. And of course the movie was supposed to answer that most desired question of the summer. Well, I can honestly say that not only was that question not answered but the movie forgot to be entertaining as well. So much for the hype.
