Hi--I'm a new poster here on this forum whose tastes in movies mainly runs to a number of Classic movies of the 1960's and early 1970's, as well as movies that have action in them. Although I find some of the newer movies that I've seen fairly recently are well-done and exciting, none of them hold the same special place in my heart regarding movies as do classics such as West Side Story (my alltime favorite movie, hands down), Lawrence of Arabia, Midnight Cowboy, Easy Rider, French Connection and a bunch of other movies from that general era.
All of the above having been said, I look forward to corresponding with everybody here. Thanks for your time and attention. |

| Hey, nice to have you on the board. My favorite movies are Rocky, Superman, Star Trek, John Wayne, Dirty Harry, Indiana Jones, and things in that range. Elvis is my favorite singer as far as that goes. | ||

| Hey...Thanks, Tim. I liked Rocky I, Superman I and II, and True Grit, which had John Wayne in it. The first Dirty Harry was the one I enjoyed, and I enjoyed Raiders of the Lost Ark, which, if I understand correctly, is the first Indiana Jones movie. Elvis Presley was a cool singer, although I've never seen any of his movies. You might be interested to know that Elvis Presley was the one that Robert Wise had initially approached for selection of the role of Tony in the film West Side Story, but Presley rejected that role, under the advice of his manager at that time, whose name I've forgotten. | ||
