We all know Spidey broke records, but who do you think will come out on top after the whole summer is over?
My prediction is Spider-Man 3 will be the champ. People are getting tired of 3d cartoons. Just way too many so I predict somewhere between 40-65 million dollar opening for Shrek 3. No records broken for the Shrekster this time around. I wouldn't be surprised if the Fantastic Four meets or exceeds Shreks opening and maybe defeats the Transformers. The Pirates movie is coming out too close to the other one. It will probably do a lot better than Shrek though, but in the end unless it's so good that word of mouth keeps it going longer it will fall before the spider. I'll bet a lot more folks will just wait for the DVD. I could be wrong though depending on the anticipation over finding out what happened to Captain Jack. Transformers will make a lot of money but don't think it will get near Spidey either and it's coming too close to Die Hard will I'm afraid is going to hurt that movie even more. I want to see both. So I'm going to guess this is the box office order of winners. 1. Spider-Man 3 2. Pirates 3. Fantastic Four 4. Transformers 5. Shrek 6. Die Hard Am I forgetting any other big movies? |
