A little late I know, but I just rented out Evan Almighty and I recommend it for family viewing. It was funny in a decent way, had great morals, and in a lot of ways mainly the ones listed above it was better than Bruce Almighty. I just didn't have Jim Carrey to give it that initial flash to draw viewers.
It was very respectful to God while Bruce Almighty went down areas that just didn't fit the areas they were trying to go in. |
