Cobra is a 1986 action movie directed by George Pan Cosmatos,
starring Sylvester Stallone, Reni Santoni and Brigitte Nielsen. The movie was
loosely based on a novel Fair Game by Paula Gosling, which was also filmed under
that title in 1995. During the 1990s, the film started to receive positive
recognition as a symbol of 1980s excess in filmmaking. Many of the movie's over
the top lines and Stallone's one liners were memorized, mostly by younger males.
