Spider-man 3 Plot
Peter Parker has begun to feel secure in his life and plans to propose to Mary Jane. One night in a park, while Peter and Mary Jane are on a date, a small meteorite crashes nearby, and an alien symbiote oozes out, attaching itself to Peter's moped. Meanwhile, escaped convict Flint Marko falls into a particle accelerator, which fuses his body with the surrounding sand. The result allows him to shape shift at will. Peter's best friend, Harry Osborn, who seeks vengeance for his father's death, which he believes Peter caused, attacks him. The battle leaves Harry with short-term amnesia, making him forget his vendetta.

Later, during a festival honoring Spider-Man for saving Gwen Stacy’s life, Marko attempts to rob an armored car, and overpowers Spider-Man. Captain Stacy later informs Peter and Aunt May that Marko is the one who killed Ben Parker, and a vengeful Peter waits for Marko to strike again. The symbiote bonds with his costume while he is asleep; Peter discovers that not only has his costume changed, but his powers have been enhanced as well. The black suit also alters Peter's personality, making him more violent, exemplified by a near lethal attack on Marko during a battle underground.

The shift in Peter's personality alienates Mary Jane, whose stage career is floundering, and she finds solace with Harry. Harry recovers from his amnesia, thanks to his father's ghost, and forces MJ to break up with Peter. After Mary Jane leaves Peter, stating she is in love with another man, Harry meets him at a restaurant and claims to be the other man. Later, Peter finds him at the Osborn mansion. With the help of the black suit, Peter is victorious in a brutal fight, which leaves Harry's face disfigured. Influenced by the suit, Peter exposes and humiliates Eddie Brock Jr., a rival photographer at the Daily Bugle, who sells fake pictures of Spider-Man.

In an effort to make MJ jealous, Peter brings Gwen to the nightclub where Mary Jane works and Peter gets into a fight. In the scuffle, he accidentally knocks MJ to the floor. Peter realizes the symbiote-suit is changing him for the worse. He runs out of the nightclub and goes to a church bell tower to be rid of it. Initially he is unable to pull the suit off, but the sound waves from the church bells weaken the symbiote, freeing Peter. Eddie Brock is at the same church praying for Peter’s death and the symbiote falls from the tower and takes over his body. The newly-powered Eddie finds Marko and suggests that they join forces to destroy Spider-Man.

The pair use Mary Jane as bait to force Spider-Man to confront them. Peter approaches Harry for help, but is turned down and leaves. However, Harry learns the truth about his father's death and arrives in time to rescue Peter, teaming up against Brock and Marko. As the fight progresses, Brock attempts to impale Peter with the glider, but Harry sacrifices himself and is fatally wounded. Peter recalls how the church bell's toll weakened the symbiote, and frees Eddie from it by clanging several pipes together. Peter throws a pumpkin bomb at the symbiote just as Eddie, who has grown attached to its power, attempts to re-bond with it. Eddie and the symbiote are apparently destroyed in the explosion.

After the battle, Marko tells Peter that he had no intention of killing Ben Parker, and that it was an accident born out of a desperate attempt to save his daughter's life. Peter forgives Flint, who dissipates and floats away. Peter and Harry forgive each other as Harry dies with Mary Jane and Peter by his side. Afterwards, Peter and Mary Jane begin to mend their relationship

Spider-Man 3 (2007) - Who is Venom
By Jesse Miller

Peter Parker has finally found the balance he's longed for between his love for Mary Jane Watson and his responsibilities as Spider-Man.

The city of New York and it's citizens are at last coming around and appreciating everything he has done as his crime-fighting alter ego, and Peter is in the running for a staff job at the Daily Bugle.

However, everything Peter has worked for is about to unravel. Flint Marko, while fleeing prison, is caught in an accident that displaces molecules and is transformed into the Sandman, a new super villain who is able to change his body into any shape of sand he sees fit.

When Peter learns of a connection between The Sandman and the murder of his Uncle Ben, he will stop at nothing as Spider-Man to capture him. But before Peter can do so he discovers a mysterious black substance has turned his suit black, and has brought forth a darker side of Parker and Spidey nobody has seen before.

Peter begins to give into this new dark personality, starts to abandon the ones he loves the most and in turn his best friend Harry Osborn takes up his late father's mantle as The New Goblin. Quickly Parker begins a new romance with his lab partner, the beautiful Gwen Stacy but in doing so Peter sets off a rival Bugle photographer, a troubled young man by the name of Eddie Brock who is obsessed with Stacy. Little does Peter know the black substance has its sights set on Eddie else as well. Turning Brock into Venom, a foe that mirrors everything Spider-Man can do. Forcing Peter to become the strong-willed hero he has forgotten about if he hopes to defeat his greatest threat yet.

Peter Parker has finally managed to piece together the once-broken parts of his life, maintaining a balance between his relationship with Mary-Jane and his responsibility as Spider-Man. But more challenges arise for our young hero.

Peter's old friend Harry Obsourne has set out for revenge against Peter; taking up the mantle of his late father's persona as The New Goblin, and Peter must also capture Uncle Ben's real killer, Flint Marko, who has been transformed into his toughest foe yet, the Sandman. All hope seems lost when suddenly Peter's suit turns jet-black and greatly amplifies his powers. But it also begins to greatly amplify the much darker qualities of Peter's personality that he begins to lose himself to. Peter has to reach deep inside himself to free the compassionate hero he used to be if he is to ever conquer the darkness within and face not only his greatest enemies, but also...himself.

Spiderman 3 - Go And Watch It
By Clain Alexandru

Spiderman 3 is a movie that probably the entire world has been waiting to come out, because it promised to be a blast. I was one of those who were eagerly waiting for the movie to come out, so I didn’t waste any time, and was almost first in line at the cinema waiting to buy tickets. And believe me, this movie was worth it, it was more than a blast, it was absolutely spectacular.

Spiderman 3 further develops Peter Parker’s (played by Tobey Maguire) story, and the plot tends to center on the battle that takes place in his soul, everything else evolving around his character. Things seem to be going very well for Peter: the people of New York now love Spiderman, Mary Jane (played by Kirsten Dunst) loves him more than ever, and he’s just about to get a full time job at the Daily Bugle. But things will start going down hill very fast, when Peter is taken over by a black alien substance, which amplifies his powers, but also brings out all his negative traits.

On the negative characters plan, we see the development of Harry Osborn (played by James Franco), who becomes the new Goblin, holding Spiderman responsible for his father’s death. Next, Flint Marko, who turns out to be Uncle Ben’s real killer, is transformed into the Sandman. Spiderman finally manages to free himself from the black substance, but this entitiy soon infects Eddie Brock, who will become Venom. So now Spidey has to face three deadly enemies, and the movie keeps you wondering until the last second if he’s going to come out alive. But, as the plot twists and turns, things lighten up. Harry turns to the good side, and helps Peter to defeat the Sandman and sacrifices himself in the fight against Venom, showing a true act of bravery and friendship. The movie ends with Peter and Jane slowly dancing, as the image fades away.

Out of all the series, I think that Spiderman 3 is the one which can be called a masterpiece. I for one liked absolutely everything about it. The movie takes time to develop each character separately, which is a great thing, as we enter the characters minds. And, to add to this, the actors give their best performances, even better than the previous two movies. What is more, the movie manages to blend drama, action and comedy perfectly. I was laughing one moment, almost crying the next, and gasping my hands later on, wondering what would happen next, how would Spidey get out of that situation, and this is what a good movie should be able to do to its audience.

On the whole, Spiderman 3 has shown all the signs of becoming this summer’s blockbuster, and, quite frankly, it’s managed to leave me hoping that they will decide to make Spiderman 4 too.

My rating: 10/10

Spiderman 4 On Its Way
By Joan Candaza

Can't get enough of Spiderman 3? Of course we're all been expecting another movie to come. Spidey fans will definitely cross their fingers for another sequel. Spiderman 4 - but who's gonna be the villain/s? The Lizard, they say...but we're still waiting for a new title, right?

The production for 4th movie was in early stages of development but there's no official word on the release date or even casting yet. Raimi, however is still uncertain if he will direct the 4th movie ( he's been rumored to show interest in directing 'The Hobbit' movie).

Major casts like Maguire and Dunst stated that they would love to do the next sequel if Raimi will be directing it. "I don't see me signing on for a fourth or a fifth," said Kirsten Dunst ( Mary Jane Watson in Spiderman )." I doubt Tobey Maguire would come back for a fourth, either." ( pretty scary for Parker and Watson fans for they'll be unsure if they will see them again portraying the next Spiderman movie).

For Maguire, he indicates that he wasn't eager to do a fourth film, but left open the possibility, depending on the script.

But the executive producer hopes all will return on the 4th film specially Raimi. Many fans said that Spiderman will never be the same again without Raimi. But for the directors out there who are willingly wanted to handle this kind of movie is definitely a new challenge and opportunity.
