The Little Giant Review
Lou Costello play a country boy living in Cucamonga, California
that has a dream of being a big city salesman. He ends up employed by
Bud Abbott two different times in the picture as Abbott plays two
different bosses, identical cousins, one a crook, and one not so
crooked. Costello's mission to sale vacuum cleaners. This is another
one of those rare movies where Costello gets the girl in the end. It's
a little slow in a couple of places. This one is more story driven
than your usual Abbott and Costello movie. There are some hilarious
scenes nonetheless that stick with you even after the movie is over.
My favorite line from the movie.
Abbott: "Didn't you go to school, stupid?"
Costello: "Came out the same way"
Facts:
Little Giant was filmed from November 1 through December 17, 1945.
